Congregational Health Nursing

My Service Learning project will be working with the Congregational Health Nursing Coordinators at Cone Health to begin an assessment project for measuring depression in the elderly.  I will have the opportunity to work with nurses in the faith community to promote health education services.

I will be working with Lelia Moore - picture below - as my contact person.  Lelia developed the Cone Health Congregational Nurse Program, which has grown to be the largest in North Carolina, and is national recognized for its many partners and diverse initiatives.

I am very new to blogging - will figure this out as I go!  I am excited to be talking with the Congregational Health Ministry tomorrow morning to write goals and objectives for my Service Learning Project.
